A&E was looking to rebrand their network to focus on their strong and unique characters. Simple objects in character's lives help define who they are or influence how they feel. Maybe it’s their bandanna, their gun, their keys, their uniform or simply their best shade of red lipstick. Shows with a silly personality, like Duck Dynasty seem to have humorous objects, where as the Gates Motel is a bit more ominous. When we investigated each show and character through the lens of an important object we discovered that the single objects packed a punch and had the ability to communicate something much bigger. They system took on a life of it's own. When the team at Troika looked at every show with this distilled point-of-view a new, fresh network brand for A&E emerged.
